Short update received yesterday:
We are in Kazakhstan! Went through the customs quickly and easily. Everyone here is very helpful and curious where are we going and why, Algis is talking to everyone right now.

We are on the way to Samara, crossing Kazakhstan border tomorrow :) Part of rear shock absorber broke down, but now we have new from Moskvitch! Diesel costs here 0.43 Euro per liter - you can drive non stop!

I am very glad to announce that for the next couple of weeks hopefully we will be able to follow adventures of our friends Algis & Vytaute who set up not too big and not too small goal - to visit remaining Buran spaceships (you can read more about it here).

I just came to me that I did not share photos for some time - here we go, this time trip to center of Romania, in the middle of Transylvania, where vampires and bears feast in the middle of the city and prey on tourists..

A pity but due to my constantly changing work schedule biggest journey of this year has been canceled. It shoud have involved Russia, space rockets, lots of plains, old 4x4 Nissan, camels and 11 thousand kilometers in 2.5 weeks time. Yes, it is almost too easy guess - journey with friends to Kazakhstan, Baikonur cosmodrome.
Well - I shouldn't be sad of course, opportunities like this are very often and usual.
